At age three Brandon started to do ballet and from that moment to the present, it has always been intertwined in his daily life. He went on to take hip hop from 1st to 3rd grade followed by doing intensive training in ballet, modern, and repertory dance at his middle school Ballet Tech. After this, he went to the Professional Performing Arts High School for dance training with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre where he learned west African, Horton, Graham, jazz, and others. During this time in high school, he discovered the lindy hop and used his fast learning skills and prior dance training to be creative with his exploration of lindy hop. He has been privileged to work with several amazing people on different lindy hop projects that reach different audiences.
